Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Hey all.

I am in the process of starting up a video game website. I have completely installed Kunena and been through the rough learning process of bugs and all that stuff(I'm new to this). I now have a fully working forum on my website and for someone who has used phpBB my teenage years, can say that I am very impressed by what Kunena has to offer, especially in regards to Joomla.

Now, alot of my site is going to be based off of tournaments for this video game. My question is; is there something I can implement with my forum users so that I can assign them scores and it will show who ranks highest to lowest on my site/forum?

This site has already done this. Despite the fact the site is run on vbulletin, I was really hoping for a way that I can do this on my Kunena forum.

Actually there is a component for Joomla that allows you to enter points for various things. It also ranks your users according to the points they have procured. This component is called Alpha User Points and can be found here . I hope that helps. :)
