The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. I was wondering if there is an easy way to show the profile above messages instead of to the left or right of them? The profile relatively takes up a lot of space when the left and right sections of my joomla template are both in use.
Hi, It is possible and you'll have to edit two files:
1. You need to change components/com_kunena/template/default_ex/message.php
You need to change the columns of the table from two to one. There are two rows. Every <tr> </tr> tag has two cells <td> which you must move so that you are only left with one column,
2. You need to change the CSS to show the borders in the correct place components/com_kunena/template/default_ex/kunena.forum.css.
Well, I've tried removing the tr's, but it's a little too complicated for me. And besides I was thinking, won't this imply me having to modify the template at every Kunena upgrade?
I'll just wait for someone to make a template with the profile on top, and for now get rid of the right position in joomla.
