Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

I have a web page that has a Kunena forum. I would like to have a forum page for each state in the country I live. I would like for the members to be automatically forwarded to the forum in the state where they live each time they log on to the forum. Is there anyway to do this!

G'day, mate. I don't know if it's possible to automagically direct users to a specific forum category based upon their state of residence ... not without doing a heap of hack work. Besides, native Joomla doesn't have a field for "state". You would need some other community extension (like Community Builder or JomSocial) which might allow for a user to enter their State when they registered.

Anyway, what have you got against crow-eaters, mexicans, sand-gropers, Taswegians and there rest of us poor mongrels south of where banana-benders live?

I don't know if I've seen this idea implemented anywhere. What I would do, if you want separate State-based forums, is create separate categories called NSW, Vic, Qld, etc., and let the users decide where their interests lie.
