Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Is there any way to restrict the thread options to just the bottom? In my opinion there are just an overload of buttons on each thread that just does not need to be there, so if possible; i'd like to know if there is a way to take out the top part to only have the bottom side. (ex : reply thread, merge, page [1][2][3].. etc etc).

This goes to show you can't please everyone! :laugh:

See Forum pathway at top AND bottom of thread which is the opposite of what you asked. The default (not the default_ex) template only has the breadcrumbs at the top of the page.

I don't know how to restrict the forum posting and pagination options to either the top or the bottom but, you can bet, if you eliminate one of them you'll later regret your decision. Consider this, having to scroll to the bottom (or the top) to find these features on a a series of long pages. Don't just consider your needs: think about the needs of your users. Not everyone operates the same way as you do. I wouldn't waste my time on this if I were in your position.
