Question How to make a Forum the Defaul Kunena Page

In my Kunena Forum I have only one category with one Forum named "General". How can I make my Default Kunena Page be the the forum "General" which displays all thereds within? Is this configurable or a code change?

This is quite easy.

1. Create a menu item out of your "General" category (see Menu Item to Forum Category for how this is done).
2. Remove your existing menu item link to the forum and replace it with the one you have just created (name it "Forum" or something meaningful).

After doing this, when your users click the "Forum" menu item they will be taken directly to the "General" category.

Thanks. I thought of this as an option but my concern was that whenever a user of my forum makes an entry or deletes a topic that they would be autofoward to the page set in the config setting for Default Kunena Page. Luckily, when deleting a topic there's an option at the bottom of the page to return to the Forum. Thanks so much.

My suggestion won't override any settings in your Kunena configuration but it's a simple mechanism to open a specific category as your forum's "start page". Where users navigate after that is determined by their choice and the logic built into Kunena.
