How to remove AIM, MSN, YIM and ICQ and add another IM? was created by kamil_w
I would like to remove AIM, MSN, YIM and ICQ and add support for Gadu-Gadu (Polish IM). How can I do that?

if you want to hack it you can go into:
components com_kunena template default message.php
and starting at line 135
you can put a // in front of any of the icons you don't want to display.
// echo $msg_icq; is now hidden

I followed these steps with no success. I would like to remove this information from the page where messages are displayed as well as from the User's Profile area. I don't want these options showing anywhere in the application. Any ideas?

Well, I haven't removed support for AIM, MSN and YIM but I have changed ICQ to GG and its fully satisfied me.
EDIT:
I have added how to do that at Polish wiki
