The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

I am planning to upgrade from FB to Kunena 1.5.3 on Joomla 1.5.11. In FB I have the anonHack (anonHack-bb667e7212dc51a70646578952423fa0) for users to be able to choose anonymity when posting.
My fear is that all anonymous posts in FB will change to the real user name in Kunena. Can someone tell me what will happen, please?
And, if I may ask here, is there a similar possibility to be anonymous in Kunena or an available hack for it?
Anomymous posts do have different username in them, BUT you will be able to click on user profile if userid was registered/on new posts. It's really easy to make a hack not to save userid on anon posts, but officially it hasn't been done.

It is the same as with FB. I can not figure out the purpose of having the possibility to enter a name to be anonymous, but still have the link to the profile. :silly:
Though I can see many reasons for people to be able to be anonymous. Any tips on where I can find the hack to make it happen in Kunena as well? Or will it be an official feature in Kunena soon?
