You didn't look too hard, did you? I answered a question like this yesterday. Look at the topic Is it possible to post video/music in forum?! and you will see that Kunena has been able to do this for a long time. :)

It would be a good idea do to have an option to add from Kunena administrator his own button to post editor with appriopriate syntax i.e {audio}file/mp3/mp3_name.mp3{/audio}
Or something like [img] tag when You upload image file.

Yes that is good and more simple. like:
Select mp3 to attach [mp3] and get mp3 player linked to the file.

There could be an extra option in Kunena control panel where we could put the path for storing mp3 files.
Can somebody cast this idea on kunena official feedback forum
Above feature + PixelOut Audio Player = complete solution

Ok Found the answer i think, install the player then go to Kunena Cofiguration & then change Joomla Mambot Support = no, to yes.. I copied this from the "Standard" Kunana Config topic.

# Frontend

* Show New posts = yes
* Joomla Mambot Support = no
* Disable emoticons = no
* Template = default_ex
* Image Sets = default_ex
* Default Kunena Page = Recent Discussions

To use manually a mp3 player (content plugin) as i use it...
Install a mp3 player (im using onepixelout)
Turn joomla mambot support=yes
The users have to put the tags {audio}file_name.mp3{/audio} (using onepixelout)
after the upload of the file and the must modify the new message to add this tags.
Users can also delete the tags FILE - /FILE and just display player wihout attachement.
