What should I replace for "yourlanguage" ? was created by simonjoomla
Dear All,
I read this article about the translation:
docs.kunena.com/index.php/Translating_Kunena
But I don't quite understand this sentence:
3. edit the file kunena.yourlanguage.php and replace the English text with text in your language.
For instance, if I want to translate into chinese, what "yourlanguage" should I replace. Can it be "kunena.chinese.php"? or "kunena.zh-CN.php" or "kunena.zh.php". Or the other example, for french, should it be "kunena.french.php"? or "kunena.fr.php" or even "kunena.my-fr.php"
Of course, I can refer back to my own community to get the right name . But I am just curious to know how to determine the right name in order to make it works. Is there somewhere in Joomla where we can find this particular reference that we can use it for "yourlanguage".
This is same as when creating my own set of images in the language I am translating:
componentscom_kunenatemplatedefaultimages
What's the right name of the folder to be given? "french"? "fr"?, how to decide? These questions are not so much asking about a particular language but in general. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

hello,
you must replace yourlanguage by french this will give kunena.french.php, yourlanguage is your language name in english, for chinese kunena.chinese.php.

We are using Joomla 1.0 naming for language files. Honestly I don't know how to name those two, but I believe that there is already a language file (maybe old one) for Chinese.
