Kunena 7.1.0 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.1.0 [K 7.1.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x./6.2.x This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 / K7.0 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.1
Just a reminder: K6.4.16 receives only securities fixes until end of 2026, so it's advised for users to upgrade to K7.1.

I just got around to installing Kunena 1.5.11 and was setting up the ranking system.

For unknown reason SOME rank images (I'm using default ones) don't show up in the front end after being successfully selected in the back.

I checked the source code and noticed that for certain ranks, the file name does not get appended to the url (<img src="http://localhost/joomla15/components/com_kunena/template/default_ex/images/english/ranks/">). Why is this happening?

Also, special characters like quotes in rank title will cause an error unless the back slash escape character is used.


UPDATE: Figured out what the issue with the images was. Rank images weren't being displayed only for my moderators and that's because they didn't have a value selected in the rank title box under User Administration. Selecting 'No rank assigned' fixed it.
