Question 404 after upgrading

404 after upgrading was created by Zelda
Hello,

I upgraded in sandbox and all went fine. Now, on live site, none of the links to "categories", "my discussions" etc. works. I get 404. I have turned off SEF and then it works. Cache cleared. But it will not work when turning SEF on again.Running the website without SEF is not an option.

So, how to solve this? A quick reply would be most appreciated!

Thanks,

Zelda

I use:

System - SEOSimple, Joomla 1.5 native plugin
System - SEF, Joomla standard

Not only has this happend. Every single link to a topic goes to random articles! When hoovering over a link, it looks right, but it ends up in various articles on the website.

I should probably let you know I have a different language installed, but it behaves the same using only English.

Can-you try by disabling only SEOSimple ?

Hello again,

The solution was simple and someone smarter than me found it. ;)

I had two menu items pointing to the forum. Simply they disturbed one another to this extent. I am posting this if others get into the same trouble and to thank you for your time and efforts! I am very happy with your prompt replies. :)
