Ok, the END ALL Time/Date Format Thread PLEASE! was created by kane3162
Using the search feature I have found 7(MAIN, of course their where others) different threads dealing with changing the default time/date formating!
The issue however is each one only consists of BROKEN UP bits and pieces on how to chance the time/date formats for US (and the like) style/format!
Can someone post in a single post the COMPLETE guide to change the time/date format, IE: "01-25-2010", or "January 25th, 2010", and "10:02PM CST" in every place they are shown/used.
" www.kunena.com/forum/139-solved-or-prior...profile-date-formats " seems to be the most complete one out of the ones I was reading, however in his last post he stated that when he updated his BDay it did not update the date correctly (more like at all)... i havent tested this on the my install (i really dont want to patch work it on my current site until I have every thing i need to change lined up so i can try it in one foul swoop)
why is their no option for time/date styles/format in kunena...
even the wiki is clueless...

I agree with kane3162. It would be great to have a single solution (even a single discussion topic/category) that deals singularly with solving date/time formats in Kunena.
There was a suggestion made in UserVoice , to allow the date/time format to be made changeable as a Kunena configuration setting; this would probably be the ideal. Another suggestion in UserVoice requested Kunena display absolute posting time instead of a relative time. There has been little work done to address both matters in a completely satisfactory manner and, as kane3162 writes, it's difficult for new users to locate and implement a solution.
But, as xillibit says, it's difficult changing every instance where Kunena displays a timestamp.

exactly... which means we as a community who want this is pretty much screwed until the makers of kunena decided to implement it!
at least thats what it seems outright looking at whats currently available! otherwise someone would have to check each and every release thats made and update each and every instance where its needed... impractical...
so i guess right now its all on hope and prayer... just great...
