Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi all,
When I use the advanced search function in Kunena 1.5.6 I get the following error message and was hoping for any advice on how to fix this - I will be upgrading to 1.5.7 soon but I don't think this has anything to do with the new version or not:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_substr() in /home/greg/public_html/components/com_kunena/class.kunena.php on line 1259

This bug has been fixed before K1.5.6 -- even the function call is not in there, it's in line 1269.

Did you get white screen during installation process? Or do you have modifications or template, which modifies this file?

See your PM, so we can test the latest build: it has a fix for search, too.

Hi there, well upgrade from K1.5.3 went smoothly to 1.5.6 but then I went back to an older template as I had alot of mods on it. So I am guessing I need to make sure this file is from the 1.5.6 install right?

Hello,

Yes, you need to use template/mod 100% compatible/dedicated for kunena version that you using, if not you have some bugs.
