Question Need help with Quick Reply

I have two Kunena websites (one old 1.5.4 maybe, and one new 1.5.6).
BOTH websites have the same set of extensions installed.

The old website (with actually MORE extensions installed) works fine.
The NEW 1.5.6 fresh install website has a broken quick reply button. Nothing happens when you click it.

I have tried disabling modules, plugins, and even turning on and off the legacy plugin. I have also tried changing templates, and am using the default_ex template.
Not only have I turned on and off the extensions one at a time, they are THE SAME extensions I am using on my other working site.

There are only 2 differences between the two sites.
Different version of kunena (1.5.4 works, 1.5.6 not)
Different template (BUT I have tried different templates with the same result)

The new site does not work in any browser i tested signed in as user or admin. Also, I have checked me kunena.php file and the "jomsocial" fix has already been applied to 1.5.6 (plus I am not using jomsocial)

How can I get quick reply to work? I cant find any other posts reporting this issue in 1.5.6 Help me please.

I am not using any of the plugins in the conflicting plugins page. Second, There is no such thing as " System - Core Design Scriptegrator" in any default joomla installation.

Lastely, I have already tried turning off non default plugins and modules. It did not help. The only non default extensions I have installed are the IDENTICAL plugins that I am using on a separate site that is working fine. The site that is working fine is kunena 1.5.4 and this new site (the broken one) is the first and only site that is using kunena 1.5.6 It seems to me that if the only difference is the newer version of kunena then it must be a problem with the new version.

When I say I am using the same extensions I mean literally they are the same install files that I have on my computer from the other website. They are not newer versions of the same extensions they are literally the same. EVEN IF it was a module or plugin problem then it would go away when I disable the non default extensions and it does not. I can not get the quick reply button to work at all.

So I just don't know what else to do. I am willing to try things if you have suggestions. The two sites on the same server, with the same extensions. What else could it possibly be other than different version of kunena?

Try to downgrade Kunena in your new site to K1.5.4 and look if it helps (version info in frontend/backend will not be downgraded because of a bug). Also try if any Kunena javascript works in your site (shrink/extend boxes, bbcode etc).
