Administrator cannot get another special rank? was created by killerwhale65
Hello,
I have 2 super administrators in Joomla, 1 is the site owner, the other is the webmaster. I have given the webmaster the rank "webmaster", but it shows as "administrator" in the forums. Can this not be changed?
thanks!
Matt

I think that my question is probably quite similar - is there a way of showing an administrator as not being an adminstrator?
For example, in SMF, you can have a user being present in 2 (or more) different additional usergroups, say a member of Team A and an additional group of Administrator. Is this also possible in Kunena?

Yes, you can hide all hints of user being admin. There are some configuration options AND you can set rank manually to something else than admin.
Plugins / Userlist:
Show User Group = No
Show User Type = No

Yeah, I think I just worked that out by adding a different "special user" and assigning the user to that group.
