Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hey all,

I'm having a strange problem with the menu link to kunena. I have tried recreating the link as a new menu item but the problem is re-occurring. It is not affecting any of the other menu links, just Kunena.

Somehow the URL is being corrupted with these ||| characters and also it gains the Item id 300057

When creating the menu item I see

www.bodojo.com/index.php?option=com_kunena

But when I apply or save it, the link turns into

www.bodojo.com/index.php?|||||o||p||t||i...kunena&Itemid=300057

When the link is clicked it brings a 404 error

The Forum seems to work when I type the url www.bodojo.com/index.php?option=com_kunena in directly.

Has anyone come across this? any idea what is going on - it has been working fine for months.

Very odd. Something is wrong in your server / Joomla. Do you have APC/eAccelerator/XCache... installed in your system?
