Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi Im getting spam , over and over on my forum, im using the latest kunena

intergrated with jom social, and i keep getting spammed by spammers

I even have captcha enabled on registration on jomsocial, as well as captcha in the kunena forum configuration in the backend.

However i dont see a captcha form when making posts on my forum,

and i would liek to remove the register link so spam bots can register threw it, because ive noticed that it takes you to a separate registration page than the one on jomsocial.

How can i prevent spammers? If the captcha is not working on kunena, and a register button is visble on the forum page, that isn't linked up with jomsocial??

Hello,

The captcha system integrated into kunena doesn't work very well, you can captcha for login and registration for joomla! like this : code.google.com/p/joomla15captcha/downloads/list

Captcha is used only for visitors, not users.

moovum.com/ will make spamming harder is your forum is for registered users.

If you have enabled anonymous posting, there's currently nothing you can do against spamming.. :(
