Ok, first off I am website idiot. I used to use dragonfly until my server crashed and could not install the backup. I decided to start over using joomla. I have decided to use Kunena as my forum component. I have installed it on a test website
Team NIJO Racing
. My problem is login. If I login (installed login module 1.5.2) All is ok until I leave the site and return. As soon as I select a different tab at the top of the page the login info is cleared and "welcome guest" is displayed. but at the bottom of the forum under "online" is states one member and 1 user with my user name showing.
I found out what is causing my problem. How to fix it is completely beyond me. I have my joomla site running IE8 compatibility mode, all is good. But this is what causes my Kunena forum not to "login" . I have spent hours trying to figure this problem out, until I logged in with my iPod touch no problem. So I immediately turned off IE8 compatibility and presto. What is really strange is the whole page formatting looks fine when in the Kunena forum, but when you select "home" or " "Photo Gallery" the formatting is all wrong. Here is a link to the site Team NIJO Racing check it out.
So I am glad I have figured out the problem, but I have no idea how it fix it  . I don't want my users to be switching in and out of compatibility mode. I would like my site to be either one or the other. Any suggestions?
