Somehow, me and the users of the board cannot upload avatars. I get the message:

Hello,

Do you checked the directory permission of joomla\images\fbfiles and the sub-directories ?

What Kunena version do you use ?

Do you have tried to upload an avatar with the following format : gif, jpg, png ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I have the same problem.

Directory permission of joomla\images\fbfiles and the sub-directories are ok.
I use Joomla 1.5.14 and Kunena 1.5.6 ...

I can't find that folder on my FTP, do you mean somewhere in the CMS?

EDIT:
I found it, and I gave everyone access to it... still, it doesn't work. Same message, same error.

I don't exactly know which one you need, but I'll quote some from phpmyadmin:

Server Version: 5.0.51a-24+lenny2
MySQL-Client-Version: 5.0.51a
phpMyAdmin - 2.11.8.1deb5+lenny1

*sigh* am I the only one with this problem?

I gave the path with the images/fbfiles 777. Was that wrong?

6 days are over, and I didn't get any help...

I still couldn't solve the problem, even if I have unlimited traffic and 1GB hosting. o_o it shouldn't be a problem because of this... it has to be something else.

Can't anyone tell me, which things could also work against the uploading of avatars??
