After 4 days you tell me to get another host.... crikey
BTW.. I didnt push my topic every hour.
I have a business to run and Kunena was not responding to my requests. What did you want me to do? Sit in the corner and wait as I loose more users? As for the hijack, I did leave information on that post with instructions to delete it.
I understand that this is free software, but you do need to support it in a reasonable manner. I did notice on Joomla that others are complaining over the same "lack of support" issue.
I hope you realise that some of your users do use a windows server as they can run both ASP and PHP, which is what I use as I run over 20 websites with 80% coded in ASP.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to give me an answer. I do appreciate it !
PS... I didnt find any documentation that stated that a windows server is not recommended
I didnt think IIS could run PHP
It seems that IIS does not set the same defines as Apache does.
There seems to be workaround for this, it's changing $_SERVER to JURI::current() but I have no idea if it works -- I suppose yes.
You must understand, that Kunena is developed in free time and people do not always have luxury of having enough time to their hobbies. Work and family comes first and unfortunately both of our lead developers have been busy elsewhere last few weeks.
