hamjambo!

I have spent today installing configuring and test 4 forums for Joomla. They have all failed except Kunena so I am going to press on with it despite some small issues like...

I am delighted that the Login and Register links on the forum go to the Joomla site Login and Register (respectively) BUT am upset that the modules published in the Left and Right module positions on the site disappear when trying to login or register via Kunena.

ie normal site login and reg show modules but login and reg via Kunena do not.

Any idea how to fix this? I need to have consistency across the site. The forum itself shows the modules no problem as the modules are set to appear with the menu item taking a user to the forum, but where is the setting to ensure the same modules show when going to the login or reg via FROM the forum?

Thanks

Hi,

thanks for the reply...but I don't think that is the problem. It would be better by example.

Go here

reelafrica.co.ke/forum.html see the forum ?

Now click on 'login' at the top of the forum...

OOPS! where did the left and right modules go? I would like them to remain like at

reelafrica.co.ke/members.html

Is that possible?

thanks

Hi again,

that is possible if you change the link "Login" and "Register" to point to component using for membership.

What is a component you are using for this?
Thank you

Hi,

thanks for the suggestion. As far I as I can tell the login is handled by the Joomla default login, the registration however goes via AEC Subscription Manager

I am happy to try what you suggest. Is that a coding thing? Which line(s) of which file(s) would I need to look at?

Thanks
