Re-installing won't change the configuration. The configuration is stored in an SQL table and, therefore, unless you DROP all the jos_fb_* tables, the same configuration will be used when you reinstall Kunena.

I would check again what your configuration settings are. Kunena, out-of-the-box, should work without making any changes to the configuration settings. Have you changed anything? See Configuration Tips in the Wiki.

Hi,

The site in question is on my server. I'll try to explain better. The forum looks fine generally, but the post success page is not styled, as if it isn't picking up the joomla template.

This bit intrigues me... If I edit a post I get a URL such as:

/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=145&func=post&do=edit&catid=5&id=122

If I submit, I get a URL like this:

/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=145&catid=5&func=post

And that page is unstyled. HOWEVER... if I edit that URL to be Itemid=144 then the page appears properly styled!

Any ideas? Kunena version is 1.0.8 - upgrading to .11 just resulted in white pages. PHP is 4.3.9.

Thanks for your time,

Martin.

Try to enable debug mode in Joomla. In many cases it reveals what is going wrong.

This issue sounds like a bug in Kunena 1.0.8.

PS: support questions for Kunena 1.0 should go into its own forum. ;)
