Question Template installation

I'm trying to install a new kunena template. I follow the same procedure I use to install kunena and uddeim, but this time the Extension manager tells me 'Please enter a package directory.' (I did notice that the package does not contain an .xml file. but I'm not sure what to make of that.)

Thanks. I followed that article, but I don't see the new ones listed in the Template Manager. I did notice that contents of \components\com_kunena\template\ looked like the options for the default rhuk_milkyway template but I didn't see any corresponding files or folders for the included beez or JA_Purity templates. I found these in a \templates folder and uploaded 2 new templates there. I can see one of them in the template manager now but not the other.

You did not follow @quila's instruction. Read the information ( How I can install another template? ) in the Wiki. Kunena templates have nothing to do with the Joomla template manager.

Kunena templates are not installed. Kunena templates are simply a set of files to be copied to your website, that's all there is to it.

Looks like actually I failed to distinguish a Kunena template from a Joomla template.
