Question MODERATOR buttons not working

also i noted that is i made the user a backend SUPER ADMIN, in joomla, the tools showed up!

Well, I hate to sound like I doubt you, but I think you might need to recheck the moderator assignments. There isn't, unfortunately, a particularly eady-to-follow guide in the Wiki. The article Forum Setup, Permissions and Forums for special Groups doesn't cover this subject except to state

... you can assign the moderator over the Kunena "User Administration" menu

but the "User Administration" function isn't written yet. The companion article, How to create Categories, Forums and Subforums doesn't address this subject at all.

So we're left with a puzzle. On the one hand, deathgame3 states that he has checked "100%" that his configuration is correct, but we have no way of knowing how he did that. To further complicate the matter, the instructions on how to assign a moderator to a forum are rather inadequate.

One way to progress this matter would be for us to see screen shots that show which forums are moderated how a typical moderator's Kunena profile has been setup. If we could see that then we might have a chance of knowing what's going on here. Could you do that?

and if ur wondering about the last pic, i can confirm 100% that the user is logged in, also the user is an AUTHOR in joomla

hi, as u can see from my first snap, i have already donee this, i have selected yes in moderator and have assigned the user all forums to moderator(holding doing ctrl to highlight all) but it still doesn't work, it is definitely something with the code, maybe something in view.php or message.php? that is different from view.php or message.php of fireboard, because it seemed to work fine in fireboard
