I migrated from Fireboard to kunena with fb patch and properly and it was success with out any errors. Now I just checked the categories part. It is blank forum with only sample content by kunena. Then I got this error

Did you remove Fireboard from your website? Did you create a menu link to Kunena? What Kunena template are you using? Do you still have your original website?

Hello,

Try to use the template default_ex, for see if you have the same problem. Thos thread give you a solution : www.kunena.com/index.php?option=com_kune...4848&catid=133#24848

You check this doc docs.kunena.com/index.php/Kunena_Configuration for the right configuration settings.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I did as you said. That error is gone. But I got ,
Code:
Notice: Undefined variable: boardclass in D:\wamp\www\bizcom\components\com_kunena\template\default_ex\fb_pathway.php on line 155 BizBoard

This at the top.

One more thing that I dont want the default page to be Recent Discussions. I want it to be catogories. What is the solution if it is default_ex

More over the icons at the top has been disturbed a bit.

Please tell me how we can proceed further.

Please read what I wrote earlier today: There is only one endorsed and supported Kunena template . It is no longer a case of "try the default_ex template" as xillibit wrote ... you don't really have a choice in the matter.

I don't have original website

The Joomla help site suggests you should not delete your original website until you have proven that everything works. Well, you've burned that bridge ...

i dont have a backup as i believed on kunena as all said it is best

The Kunena upgrade instructions clearly state: make a copoy of your site!

I have enabled USE JOOMLA STYLE?

Don't. Turn that off. See Configuration Tips in the Wiki.
