Kunena 7.0.9 & Kunena 6.4.14 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.9 [K 7.0.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi there,

I just upgraded to Kunena 1.5.4 from 1.10, however i'm having difficulty allowing guests to read the forums but not write in topics. I'm guessing its possible as its done here!

Can anyone tell me how it is possible? Even hitting yes on Public Read/Write does not work. However I do not want the public to be able to write, only read.

I do have the same problem too. Default Page is displayed to the guest but clicking on the topic or category to view it as takes guest to login page,
Public Access set to Everyone
Security Settings:
Registered Users Only: NO
Public Read/Write: NO & yes tried both
Even after allowing everything public it's the same problem, went through Forum Setup, Permissions and Forums for special Groups too, I wanted forum to be read by everyone but only registered user and write. Is there something I am missing?
