We often receive questions about "cannot upload images" as the
results of this search
show. A lot of these problems involve folder protection issues. Many more problems involve the way that people have configured their systems: for example, trying to upload a 20 Mb file on a system that only allows you to upload 10 Mb. In a few cases there are problems involving Kunena itself.
When you wrote "I am very new to this" I assume that you have just started using Kunena. We strongly recommend that new users start with K 1.6 (unless there are technical reasons preventing them from using K 1.6) - please read Why are people using old versions of Kunena for new installations? You might save yourself a lot of problems if you act now and upgrade to K 1.6 instead of trying to make K 1.5 work.
