Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

I uploaded this file: usr.local.etc.tar.bz2, everything ok but the attachment has this name:

usr.bz2

Original filename is: usr.local.etc.tar.bz2

after uploaded that file, the attachment name is: usr.bz2

kunena cut a part of file

I just tried the same experiment on a test site. I created a file with the name usr.local.etc.tar.bz2
and I uploaded the file as a Kunena attachment.

There was no change in the file name.

It would have helped (and saved you two days) if you had posted your question in the right category. You posted your question in the General Talk about Kunena . I tested your issue with K 1.6.1 - there was no problem.

I tested the same situation with K 1.5.13 - there is a problem.

It looks like you have found a defect in K 1.5.13. I don't know how to fix this problem. The problem has been fixed in K 1.6. I recommend that you upgrade to K 1.6 if this problem is important to you and you must fix it.
