Can you open RSS feed as a file and look what it contains. If there are errors or warnings in your site, it may sometimes break RSS by adding error messages in the beginning of the file.

Access to forum only for registered users! See RSS Feed for Registered Users? .

Because your forum is only accessible to registered members, there's nothing that the RSS feed can access because, in effect, you've locked it out. Kunena honours this standard W3C security convention. Allow public access and the RSS feeds will probably start working.

:) Thanks for your reply and support.

After changing the access rights to public the RSS feed did work!

This means that the members can use only the forum subscribe option and not the RSS feed option in my case (access only for registrated users).
