It's not an issue with sef, there are modules or plugins which put something in the top of RSS feed. So, you need to find which modules or plugins causing this, by example by disabling one by one.

I searched for other topics with similar circumstances to this case. In all cases that I found there was some "third-party extension" that caused the problem. The disappointing fact was that none of the users who reported their problems was able to provide us with the details of which specific "third party extension" was responsible.

So, that's not much help.

Getting back to this case, xillibit's suggestion is probably right. There is some other factor working against Kunena. Perhaps the issues lie with the RocketTheme template? :S

Getting back to the "legacy mode" aspect, I strongly urge you to look into what it is that requires you to need to have legacy mode enabled. uddeIM works quite well with J! 1.5 running "natively" (well, the versions that I have been using for many months do, anyway). Legacy mode was only supposed to be used temporarily in any event. Joomla 1.6 does not have any such "legacy mode", there is no support for J! 1.0 software and these are another two good reasons why you should not be running any J! 1.0 software on your website.

You will also need, as a minimum, Joomla 1.5.18 if you intend to run Kunena 1.8. Here are more reasons why it is important for you to keep your website components up-to-date.

Good luck :)

hi mikelll,

i just had a look at your site and see that you are using the affinity template.
could you check if the template itself is causing the issue?

you can do that by setting rhuk_milkyway template as default or by visiting the following link:
www.pt-tech.net/forum?template=rhuk_milkyway

if you have no issues when using rhuk_milkyway then sozzled is right and the affinity template could be causing the problem.

please let us know and i will try to help out further.

cheers,

kat :)
