Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

I needed to edit a users post today, to fix a link. When I did that, it now shows myself (Admin) as the post author... Is their not a way to edit a post with out it changing the author info? Is their away for me to switch the post back to the original poster?

To edit, I just clicked the edit button under the post. I didn't see anywhere else, front or back end that this could be done... :huh:

G'day, HomesteadMommy, and welcome to Kunena.

I haven't encountered this issue before and so, by saying this, I'm surprised. :huh:

As a matter of interest, what version of Kunena are you using and what Kunena template are you using?

We have been using K 1.5.12 here for the past month or more and sometimes we moderators make minor changes to other users messages - I always give a reason for why I change other people's messages - but, if you look at some of my changes (e.g. [Merged topic] Preview does not work ) you will see that I don't change the ownership/authorship of them.

So that's why I find this revelation of yours rather surprising. I believe your claim but I do not know where to begin looking. I suspect something else is playing-up (a database corruption, perhaps?). Can you reproduce these symptoms with another message? Maybe this was a one-off piece of bad luck (I don't believe in luck, but I'm sure you understand what I am driving at).
