The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
Question "Allow Name Change" confusion
I'm currently developing a "life issues forum " for a website using kunena.
The site's forum will encourage people to post issues facing them in their daily lives, with forum users contributing solutions to these issues. Some of these issues may be very personal, consequently one of the key requirements is that registered users can change(mask) their names if they need to post sensitive issues...
I have the following setting under security in Kunena Configuration
Registered Users Only = No
Allow Name Change = Yes
Public Read/Write = No
When posting a new thread, i can edit the name field, however after submitting the post, the Author name still shows the original name and not the edited name...
Am I misunderstanding the purpose of the "Allow Name Change"setting?
Joomla Version 1.5.15
Kunena Version 1.5.11

I'm using a stripped down version of default_x. Also it might be worth mentioning that i'm currently developing locally on a Ubuntu virtual machine.
I'll try with a different template and see if that changes anything.
