Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Hello! I recently installed Kunena Forum and have completed most of the CSS styling.

Curious problem: When viewing the Forum Categories, in the Description field, there is HTML markup showing on the page!

In the Suggestion Box Description field, for instance, the <br> element shows up on screen instead of forcing the text to a new line.

In the Main Forum description, both the <strong> and <br> markup appears on screen, instead of bolded text and a line break!

I checked the Kunena control panel, and that markup is there from the original install.

I could easily style that text from the CSS file, but am wondering why it came set up like that...

The art of translate the description have changed...It changed from html to bbcode for the description...just change your html code to bbcode and it will work (<br> is normal Enter without code, <strong> is etc)
