Question Cannot see categories in new Kunena Template

Hi,

I installed a Kunena Template named as "default_ex_black".

These are the steps I followed :-

1. Uploaded the files wid folder "default_ex_black" in template(under com_kunena) folder via FTP.
2. Then I logged in admin panel , I changed the front end options from 2 drop down bars. [see picture]




Now after installation what I see is my categories are missing [see picture]



Also, if I put default_ex from front back again instead of chossing default_ex_black

I can see my categories [see pic]



Other details :-

php version: 5.2.13
mysql version: 5.1.46
Joomla version: Joomla_1.5.18
Kunena version: com_kunena_v1.5.11_stable_b1884_2010-04-04.zip

I think I missing 1 or more steps of correct installation.

How can I see categories in new template?

Appreciate your help.

I have commented a few time on how broken the dark template is as it is made for a very old version of kunena and is notr supported by the kunena project. template would need massive work to make it functional again.

nope sadly most templaters like myself are working on templates for K1.6 but if perswaded i may be able to do a black one for K1.5.11
