Hello,

I love Kunena! I am using the most updated version 1.5.9 - having some issues with several things, but most importantly, I cannot seem to get the forum to fit properly in IE7. It looks wonderful Firefox and IE8.

Here is the forum:

www.100summits.com/forum/help-info-and-h...tent-33110-4710.html

The profilebox at the right seems to have overflow scrollbars when they should not. Any ideas on a fix?
I'm sure it lies in my CSS but I only know how to look at that using Firebug in Firefox.

Thanks for any help you can provide me with!

Hi 100summits,

Kunena 1.5.11 is the newest edition and I believe that 1.5.9 is no longer supported.

Only the "default" template of Kunena supported, if you are having problems with your custom template then you should adress the developer of that template.

Kunena moderator/admins please correct med if I am wrong.

Best regards Mikkel

Hello,

Maybe that you need to just forgot IE 7 and use IE 8, IE 7 has some issues with css so the best way it's to use at least IE 8 or one another browser and you have a lot of choices :).

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I would love to kill IE 7 but that is what we use at work... :S

If this is an IE 7 issue then never mind :-)

But the thing is - many people still use IE 6 and 7 according to my Joomlastats component. Oh well.

looks fine to me in ie8 and i see no defects in your css file so i come to teh conclusion that yes its an IE7 issue and i agree IE7 need to be shot.

Another thing i noticed when viewing ur site is the background only covering a small part of the page have you thought about using a static back ground ( the only the middle scrolls) so then it would look a better fit and not so tacked on?
