I have installed several kunena templates and the only one showing up in the configuration is the default_ex. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Thanks.

Hello,

It's to avoid that the user use the deprecated template default, default_red, default_green, default_gray.

If your template isn't one of the list below, it will be displayed.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

hacktorious: It is true, as xillibit has stated, that there is no support for some of the ancient templates that existed for older versions of Kunena and Fireboard (as explained in more detail in There is only one endorsed and supported Kunena template ... default_ex ). From K 1.5.8, in new installations of Kunena only, the default_ex template is the only template installed. If you are upgrading from an older version of Kunena, any existing templates are kept. In any case you can still add other templates if you wish.

To install a new template, you need to add relevant files into a new folder like this: ../components/com_kunena/template/<new-folder-name>. If you do that, your <new-folder-name> template will then show in your configuration settings. :)
