Hi,

I have decided to create a new website, and instead of using Fireboard, I will now use Kunena. But Im not sure how to migrate my excisting data from Fireboard into Kunena.

(Fireboard 1.0.4 Stable + CB 1.1 into Kunena 1.5.12)

Does anyone know how to do, and is it at all possible?

Thanks in advance, :)

FAQ.

Do I need the FireBoard Converter?

Using the FireBoard converter is completely optional. It aids in the upgrade
of older FireBoard installations. You should only run it if your current
FireBoard version is pre 1.0.5. For example: 1.0.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3 or
1.0.4
You do not need the converter if you are already on any 1.0.5 or later build.
Starting with 1.0.5 the configuration is already stored inside the database
and no conversion is required. To avoid overriding your existing settings
you should no run the converter if you are on FireBaord 1.0.5 or later.
You also don't need this converter if you are doing a fresh install of
FireBaord 1.0.5 - no upgrade.

What is the FireBoard Converter?

This standalone Joomla 1.0.x component helps with the automatic migration
of FireBoard 1.0.x settings before the install of FireBoard 1.0.5 or later.
Previous versions of FireBoard kept all configuration data only inside a
php configuration file. Unfortunately all such files get removed from the
system during a component uninstall.
In order to preserve FireBoard configuration settings, FireBoard 1.0.5 or later
stores all of its settings inside the Joomla database.
Since older releases don't support that storage format, we have created
a very simply to use converter.

How to install the FireBoard Converter

The converter is a very simple component and is to be installed like all
other Joomla components. It has no options, no user settings, no choices
to select from.
Simply install the component.
If installation finishes without errors and the success message is
displayed, you are basically done.
Once installed, simply uninstall the component. It will no longer serve
any purpose. It does not contain any code that gets executed outside the
installation.

Why do you bump this very old topic ?

Check that the bbcodes images are present on your server and check that the right are correct.

Zylkin: restore your website from your backup. The procedure is:

(1) Convert/upgrade Fireboard 1.0.5 -> 1.0.5
(2) Install Kunena 1.5.12
(3) Uninistall Fireboard
(4) Remove old Joomla menu and create new Joomla menu to your new Kunena forum.

The "-1 error has occurred": search this forum to see what other people have done in your situation. If I remember right, most of these problems involve the platform where your site is hosted. I think that some of these problems also involved folder permissions.
