Installing Standalone Kunena from Joomla Integration was created by thebigman
Hi
I am at present using joomla with the kunena component.
Is it possible to install a standalone version to use with another site and also to import the users from the joomla version. If possible this wouls save a lot of problems.
Also how do you get kunena to look like your main site.
Thanks again.
PS using latest kenena component and joomla 1.5.
thanks

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hello,
What do you mean by installing a standalone version ? Do you want a standalone version of kunena without joomla! ? If the answer is yes, forgot that.
You can use a template for kunena, there are plenty of templates : www.kunena.com/forum/111-templates-and-design

We are planning to release an all-in-one package for Kunena 1.6 that will include a basic Joomla install, template and Kunena to get people started quickly. That way you can setup a Kunena based forum site in less than 5 min. Minimal Joomla visible, but can be configured and adjusted as the needs for the site grow. Homepage is the forum itself.
More about that once the Kunena 1.6 releases come out in the upcoming weeks.

that is a default joomla feature. Just add a link and set it to display your blog category in blog mode. So yes that package will support that.
