The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
I've just installed Kunena 1.5.9 and the installation seemed to go somoothly, and I've begun adding forums to my site. When I go into the Joomla administrative backend to the Kunena Control Panel all of the icons are broken images. I looked at the source and these icons have addresses such as "components/com_kunena/images/fbconfig.png"
But when I look in this directory within administrator/components/com_kunena/images - the icon files are there.
Any ideas how to get the icons to show in the backend? I did try uninstalling and reinstalling.
OK, I solved it myself. The permission for the administrator/components/com_kunena/images directory was 755. I set that permission recursively for the content of that directory. That did it.
