Kunena to VB 4.0? was created by OurIslamic
One of my sites is getting bigger and needs a more advanced forum script. I'm looking to transfer Kunena to VB4.0. Is this possible? If so, are there any guides?
I'm wondering if I can transfer the posts, threads, and accounts. Are there any restrictions? How are they migrated?
Also, would it be possible to transfer back to Kunena if I don't like VB compared to Kunena?
Lol, sorry for all the questions, but I'm really curious. Thanks for the help!

New version of Kunena (K1.6) looks like it handles very large forums (lots of users and posts) a lot better .. if you can hold out a few more weeks (months) then it may be the solution.
As for moving back and forward this would be a complicated process ...

Hi!
We are planning to have Kunena 1.6 out to Alpha by end of January. Many, many new features are done, we are just reworking the profile pages and moderator functions.
We have reduced large amounts of queries already and have thinned down the entire codebase significantly.
While Open Source roadmaps are notoriously fluid, we have been making very good progress in the last 6 weeks.
Hoep this helps!

Is there a guide to transfer though? Incase I don't like K1.6? I'm going to wait until it comes out though.
