Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

I appreciate your kind response. I have checked the directory permissions and they are all set to writable. Also despite changing the settings in php.ini file I get the same error message. Do you think there is any way of doing the installation manually, or doing the setps one by one to check what is causing the problem. Thank you...

You can install manually, but it's not user friendly, i had wrote a post about this some time ago.

Do you have installed Kunena by extract the files in the archive in the tmp directory ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Can you please refer me to that post about mnaual installation I will be really obliged because I don't see it working automatically. I wish it works but I have to do something to make my site discusssions live again.

Yes, I have installed Kunena by extracting the files in the archive in the tmp directory of the ftp. Thanks a lot for your reply.

Try this, but backup your database before :

then copy the kunena files in the directory administrator/components and components/
