Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Important 2 problems since upgrade to 1.5.8
since i have upgraded to kunena 1.5.8 i have 2 problems.
1. first, upload avatar i get this error
before the upgrade upload avatars worked fine with no problems.* JFile::copy: Cannot find or read file: '/tmp/kn_wHoEwK'
* JFolder::create: Infinite loop detected
* JFTP::write: Bad response
* JFTP::delete: Bad response
* JFile::copy: Cannot find or read file: '/tmp/kn_Ukrhoi'
* JFile::copy: Cannot find or read file: '/tmp/kn_by7LlR'
2. the second problem is as you can se in the picture. i cant click to chose the topic icon

hi1°) -check the permissions of joommla directories in joomla! backend : help -> system info -> Directory Permissions
-disable the FTP layer in joomla! configuration panel

problem no.1 fixed
problem 2 still not fixed
did what you wrote disable the FTP layer in joomla!
and still error
all of my folders are Writable
there in no diffrenc if a pu gd2 or gd1
but when i chose the third option, avatar does upload and no problem if its right dimencions 250x250, if its bigger, error shows.
