Hello
Thanks for interesting informations.
I must admitt that it scares me also to uninstall previous installation.
" Uninstall + install will remove deprecated templates, install (upgrade) will let you continue using them (with your own risk) also in the new version. "
Forgive me for not understandig exactly what the risk is to install over existing one, regarding the templates, I am not english...and do just not quite understand it.
I use the defaultx to my kunena forum.
If someone reads this and could explain please,
It would aslo be nice to know..let's say I install over now..(1.5.6 to 1.5.7) would it affect the next upgrade if I don't uninstall now..or could I do it just then?
Thanks for support

If you use default_ex, you will be fine even if you uninstall Kunena.
If you have custom template or files, they will be removed on uninstall.
Uninstalling does not affect on installing next version of Kunena -- not doing it just leaves some extra files behind.

Thanks for the clarification guys! Definitely fast on support and replies and sorry I couldn't thank you sooner.
Hmm I believe i may just be a paranoid nut, but just for verification since I know uninstalling kunena will not remove data in the database. Would I be correct in assuming the only way to completely remove kunena would be to uninstall it and manually delete the tables in the database or is there some type of complete uninstall wizard?
That is truly my last question and thanks for such a great product

That is correct - you would have to manually drop the tables in the database to delete them.
