Question 1.0.10 -----> 1.5.6 ....... should I upgrade ?

Hi all ,

I have Kunena forum version 1.0.10 running perfectly on my website

Should I upgrade to 1.5.6 ? What are the benefits ?
Can anyone post a link which can guide me ?

If you have PHP5, MySQL5 and Joomla 1.5, the short answer is yes, you should have done it long time ago.

New version contains huge amount of bug fixes and some important security fixes. It also works better with J1.5 and the only thing (after taking a backup, just in case) is to install new version.

i have joomla version 1.5.14 .
I have also installed Community builder and SH404SEF and had great pains integrating them with Kunena .

If i install the new version of kunena , Will the integration still work ?
Di i need to uninstall Kunena and then reinstall the new version 1.5.6 ?

Voila ...

I just went to Joomla and said install 1.5.7 . It automatically did the upgrade .
Dont know what was actually upgraded though ....

how do i know that ?

New sh404sef should use K1.5.7 router, so it should not be an issue (urls are slightly different, though). Also CB integration should work after upgrade.

You know that upgrade succeeded if you get a screen saying it. If you get a white page, it failed on timeout.

CB integration wasnt working .
However , I managed to get it working .

The Problem i am facing now is that

2. Total posts
3. Forum Ranking

are not getting updated from Kunena to CB .

Can you help me in this ??
