Hi,

Your suggestion work! Thank you very much. Unfortunately (I'm not very lucky with this migration :( ) I found another small problem not connected to Kunena. I'm making al these migration operation in my local computer using WAMP. At the end of the operation I tried to reload into the web site the joomla comfiguration modified but when I try to export the db using phpmyadmin the format of the file exported "loose" the japanese characters and insted of them load into the remote database some random characters (not japanese). In there a way to have a correct unicode data exported using phpmyadmin?

OK, ignore my last question, I found how to fix also this last problem, now the porting is complite! I simly add the "magic" command (SET NAMES 'utf8') at the begginning of the sql file generated by phpmyadmin and the import operation has been successfull, japanese characters working well.
Thank you for the great support
