Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi, whatever I do I always get this install error when installing kunena 1.6:

Hello,

Use the install by directory by unzip the kunena archive in the directory joomla/tmp, because the joomla! installer isn't powerfull.

MySQL server has gone away means that you probably want to increase value of MySQL timeout. If it's too short (it may even be 15 seconds), it will timeout while the files are extracted.

Hi, thanks for answering, I already thought about this, but all ways I tried didn't work
so when installing from that folder, I get the same error, which is strange

the timeout is set at 30 seconds, and I can't change it

Do you have tried to disable the FTP layer in Joomla! configuration panel ?
