Kunena 7.0.9 & Kunena 6.4.14 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.9 [K 7.0.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

I found a topic on the line 65 error, but it has been locked (it says) and there wasn't a solution anyway.

I'll ask again. Installed and uninstalled Kunena 3 times. When I go to Components > Kunena Forum, I get a Parse error as follows:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CLASS in /home/pjkin3/public_html/Joomla_1/components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.config.class.php on line 65

Any suggestions where to go from here? Again, I've already uninstalled and REinstalled 3 times, so that doesn't seem to be the answer.

Please tell me how to correct the parse error.

Same thing happened for me today. Suddenly after months of normal forum activity I get this error. Looked at the sysinfo and it says:
PHP Version 4.4.7 (full php info here: hosting server php info
Mysql version 5.0.41
Kunena 1.5.5

Works again. I uploaded a fresh copy of the mentioned file and it worked.

I ran into this today, it came out of the blue without warning.

As it turns out, I was noodling with my .htaccess file in root.. I installing sh404SE and the Joomla-supplied htaccess.txt and I left out some (host-supplied) entries to enable php5. This dropped my php version down to 4.4.9

It was when I got to the 'reinstall' stage I noticed the change in php version on Kenuna's install page, and verified it with phpinfo().
