Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Question All post counts now at zero after migration
I’ve run into a problem with a migration and am after a little assistance. It seems that this is a fairly common issue...
I’ve been working my way through setting up a new site for a gaming guild I’m involved with, based on Joomla 1.5.14, Kunena 1.5.5 and Community Builder 1.2.1. This new site will be replacing our old Joomla 1.0.13, Fireboard 1.0.3 and Community Builder 1.1 site.
I went with the “mtwMigrator” module here for the migration : extensions.joomla.org/extensions/migrati...oomla-migration/3895
Apart from covering the Joomla side of things it also has built in extensions for Community Builder, Fireboard and Kunena, so it seemed to have pretty much all I needed. The user’s reviews of it also put my mind at ease...
The initial setup went fine and the migration was done in a blink of an eye, but like a few other people by the looks of it on here, all of my users now have "0" post counts and the same for posts and threads in the “Categories” view too.
Should it ring any bells with anyone, it’s entirely possible that I removed the “Welcome Mat” that came with the original Kunena install, prior to the migration. I thought I'd mention this as I think another person here mentioned it and had a similar problem afterwards.
Anyway, I’ve tried using the “Recount Category Stats” in the Kunena Control Panel but it times out after 300 seconds each time. Regardless of this, it does not appear to sort out the user stats. So I looked a little further afield and found this hack – “Hack to Make Kunena Forum Recount User Posts :
www.joomlasystems.com/index.php/componen...m-recount-user-posts
Now being a total novice to all this, can someone experienced out there tell me the likelihood of the above hack messing things up further? I do not want to dig myself in any deeper at all if there’s something simpler that could resolve this seemingly minor issue.
If it helps, here’s what the site looks like so far : www.kaddyshack.org/new/index.php?/forum/
* The Kunena template by the way is a self modified version of “Updated_Default_Black” from here : www.kunena.com/forum/111-templates-and-d...defaultexblack#23393
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks

I tried the above hack but it came back with the same error message -
"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in /home2/kaddysha/public_html/new/components/com_kunena/class.kunena.php on line 425"
I haven't a clue what or why it's fouling up, but this either starts working soon or I'm on the look for another forum...

I don't know mtwMigrator, but do you have to upgrade by installing directly Kunena 1.5.5 without use this migrator tool ?
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hi there
I wish I could, but it's a live site and I don't want to screw it up.
I've also had a look at the SQL side of things to see if there were any duplicate IDs for categories or null entries, but I didn't notice anything that looked out of place.
