Question Question using UddelIM

Ok, I just installed Kunena, and wanted to add messaging so I installed UddelIM as well.

As far as the integration goes, here's my question. I have UddelIM set to get the thumbnail from Kunena, and in Kunena is set to get the avatar from JomSocial, so in theory, any messages sent using UddelIM should use the JomSocial avatar, yes?

Or am I incorrect in my thinking?

How would this be set up? Have both use the JomSocial for avatars?? If not, what's the best way to handle something like this??

I use Community Builder and uddeIM on my websites. I see that uddeIM 1.7 allows integration of "thumbnails" and "user profiles" with Community Builder and Kunena. I do not see any option to integrate uddeIM with JomSocial which, I believe, has its own PM system. I also note that the uddeIM support forum is hosted at Joomlapolis. This seems to be a strong indication that it was designed with Community Builder in mind, doesn't it?

Alternatively, use the JomSocial PM system. You paid for it, why not use it?
