Message Editor acting Goofy was created by Estacey2009
I just installed Kunena 1.5.3 on my Joomla 1.5.11 - and followed the instructions closely. When I visit the forums and try to reply to a message, it's goofy.
F'instance, clicking on a smiley, doesn't put a smiley in the post
clickin on the "Bold".. doesn't put the Code into the message..
In fact, when I click on those things.. the cursor in the message stops blinking and the message hangs....
And I noticed that the canned forum messages look like this
<strong>Welcome to Kunena!</strong>
Thank you for choosing Kunena for your community forum needs in Joomla.
Kunena, translated from Swahili meaning "to speak", is built by a team of open source professionals with the goal of providing a top-quality, tightly unified forum solution for Joomla. Kunena even supports social networking components like Community Builder and JomSocial.
<strong>Additional Kunena Resources</strong>
As if the HTML isn't working..
I've installed and uninstalled Kunena to no avail.. could someone point me in the right direction to help myself with this? - Anything I could or should check with Joomla or Kunena?

Hello,
I can't tested because your site isn't open publicly.
I think that you have a conflicting plugin, check this : docs.kunena.com/index.php/Conflicting_plugins .

xillibit, Thank you for the response..
At the bottom of my message is a link and passwords needed to access the situation.
I do have RokBox running on the site, but disabled it without help.
I know you're busy, I do thank you for the extra effort in solving this..
UPDATE:
Well, you got me to thinking Xillibit, and Rockettheme has this stuff called, "RokCandy" - its a nifty (though troublesome at times) macro generating addition to Joomla..
Turned it off, and Viola! - Kunena appears to be acting 'normal' now..
Whew! Thanks again have a go at it... Please add, "RokCandy" to the list of 'un-huh' and I'll keep you posted if Rockettheme ever gets it going right..

I think RokCandy is number one on the hit list of do-not-play-this-with-Kunena favourites!
